Restore Your Hair and Confidence

Is it time to restore your hair and confidence? If you’ve been brushing your hair lately and realizing more and more hair continues to fall out, it might be time to do something about it. Hair loss in women is just that- when a woman experiences unexpected, heavy hair loss it can be scary. Generally, humans do shed between 50 and 100 single hairs per day. Hair shedding is a part of a natural balance and some hair falls out while others grow in. This balance can be interrupted though when hair falls out and less hair grows in, and in turn, hair loss occurs. Hair loss is different from hair shedding. Hair grows on almost all of your skin surfaces whether it be short hair, light, fine or even dark.

Causes of Hair Loss

There are various causes of losing your hair that can all lead to all sorts of curiosity on your part including certain medical conditions, medication, hormonal imbalance, stress, surgery, radiation, hair loss, age, childbirth or alopecia. Hair loss can be permanent or temporary and can also affect your scalp or your entire body. Hereditary hair loss with sage is one of the most common causes of baldness.

Your hair actually goes through three different cycles. The growing phase can last from two years to eight years. This phase generally refers to about 85% to 90% of the hair on your head. The transition phase is the time that hair follicles shrink and takes about two to three weeks. Lastly, the resting phase take about two to four months and this is the end of the phase, where your hair falls out. There are shorter hairs such as your leg, eyebrows, arm and eyelashes that take about one month. Your scalp hair can last up to six years or even longer!

When it comes to fixing the problem, you can use various medications to help you. There is rogaine that works by applying a liquid or a foam twice a day to help your scalp grow hair and also prevent any more hair loss from happening. There are also hair transplant options that consider a surgery. These can be expensive and of course can involve risk but it might be worth it.

What is SMP?

What is SMP you ask? It stands for scalp micropigmentation and it’s an alternative method to the more invasive hair transplant. Like a tattoo, natural pigments are injected into the scalp. This provides the look of hair follicles on a shaved hair. Or even to fill in gaps that are similar to shadows in regions where you want to restore hair. However, although it is a type of tattoo, this particular treatment doesn’t go as deep into the skin as a typical tattoo. There is less of a chance for the side effects commonly associated with getting a tattoo such as infection, burning or even bleeding that might occur. Even if you are not going completely bald or you have areas that you feel extremely insecure about, having this tool could be the solution to give you the appearance you are looking for without having to go through surgery. On their website, there are several scalp micropigmentation reviews for you to look at.

Hair Loss for men and women do not come cheap. The initial treatment can be very expensive. Additionally, there can be a high level of maintenance. Some of the treatments have can require a pretty big chunk of your bank account. While SMP is not cheap either, it costs considerably less than a transplant and will depend on how much hair loss you want to hide. Unlike extensions or hair pieces, the procedure requires virtually zero upkeep and only need a touch up every five to seven years to continue looking it’s best. We all know that time is money and it’s well spent saving you on hair maintenance over time.
