I was born with budget and thrift on the brain and bargaining in my blood.  Some of my earliest childhood memories are from visiting yard sales with my Grandmother.  All through middle school and high school, my favorite weekend activity was hitting up all my local small-town thrift stores.

In my early 20s, I moved to the big city and was FLOORED at all of the thrifting possibilities.  I still had my Goodwill and Salvation Army stores, but there were vintage consignment shops, trendy second-hand boutiques, opportunities to attend various ‘fashion and accessory trade offs’, .

My pregnancy & the birth of my daughter made thrifting and yardsale-ing more challenging and less exhilarating (shopping with babies & toddlers is no joke!) but I needed to fulfill my thrifting therapy needs.

Fortunately, I was able to find some AMAZING online resources to thrift from the comfort of my own home and I am sharing these resources with you today!

thredUP – Online thrift store

First up, I want to introduce you to thredUP  <<< That link will give you $10 off your first order!!

I’ve been a customer of thredUP since 2013.  It was a great source for me during my pregnancy.  I was able to get my maternity wardrobe for a very reasonable price then sold back some of the pieces that still had life left in them to get thredUP credits towards my ‘new Mom’ wardrobe!

Because of the selectivity of thredUP, I have been 100% satisfied with every purchase I have made.

Next, I have to tell you about Schoola!

I’ve been a ‘regular’ at Schoola since October of 2015.  They run amazing promotions with as much as 75
% off and free shipping.  They also offer Referral Credits – $10 for your friend & $10 for you!

Because I love earning referral credits just as much as the next gal, I’m sharing my referral link with you!  >>>> Click Here to get $10 credit on your first order! <<<<

Out of the hundreds of items I have purchased, only 4 or 5 have been ‘not what I expected’ once they arrived.  One time, I purchased a New With Tags pair of nude pumps that were listed on their website as size 8.5.  When they arrived, I was super bummed to see that they were actually size 9.5.  I contacted Schoola and they refunded me $6.19 (the amazing low price I paid after discounts) and told me I could re-donate the shoes or gift them to a friend.  Another time, I paid less than a dollar for a blouse that turned out to be more like a cheap, cotton t-shirt that was not in great shape.

SWAP.COM – Online thrift store

Recently I discovered Swap.com.  I just placed my first order and I’m looking forward to seeing how the experience plays out.  I heard about Swap.com from a friend, so I’m pretty sure it’s worth it!
