From what I learned on the BOXYCHARM website, there were 10 brands I could have received for the month of August. I had seen a preview for the month and was super excited to see Laura Lee on the product list. I had my fingers crossed that I would get one of her palettes and I did!
Here’s what was in my BOXYCHARM box
Adesse New York – Sweet Almond Cuticle Oil – $18 value
Bang Beauty – Chocolate Eyeliner – $22 value
House of Lashes – $12 value
Laura Lee Los Angeles – Party Animal Palette – $19 value
Smashbox Lipstick – $24 value
Wander Beauty – Baggage Claim Gold Eye Masks – $13 value
Their website claims that each subscription box has 4 to 5 full sized premium products valued at no less than $100. I received 6 products and, according to the retail prices listed on BOXYCHARM, my total value is $108.
Because I wasn’t sure if I’d like BOXYCHARM, I decided to sign up for a month-to-month subscription. Currently, the monthly subscription is priced at $21. The total value of my August 2018 BOXYCHARM was (according to the retail pricing listed on their website) a total value $108. $8 more than the advertised $100. Good job Boxy!
Although the color of the Smashbox lipstick is not something I would ever wear, I will keep my subscription going for another month. At least I was able to try Smashbox for the first time and I did like the formula so I’m more likely to make a purchase in the future!
There are a few BOXYCHARM perks, like earning ‘Charms’ for doing reviews that I will be learning more about. I’ll let you know more details when I find out how it works! 😉
